Evercreech CofE Primary has deep-routed connections to the beautiful Somerset village of Evercreech. The original school was built opposite St Peter’s Church in 1854 as Christ Church School, Evercreech. After over hundred years, plans for a new school were discussed in 1963. 29 years later in March 1992, the first sod of grass for the new school was cut in a ceremony before the children finally moved into the school we see today in February 1993.
Today, the school is a thriving 7 class school with its own Pre-School, Acorns. It is blessed with glorious rural views and large open spaces for our children to flourish in a rich and stimulating environment. Staff provide children with a varied and stimulating curriculum to nurture the talents of all our children.
Our strong Christian values instil a firm foundation for moral and spiritual growth, which helps the children to engage with the local community in keeping with the principles of the Church of England.
Evercreech CofE Primary was delighted to join PPAT in December 2024 and is taking full advantage of all the support on offer to continue the school’s journey to excellence.
